TPdoc Release Note February 16, 2022

Last week we realigned to the first steps you take within a fiscal year and further streamlined them so you could get right into the essential tasks at hand. With that initial step improved, we realized that we could take another leap and reorganize the sidebar to better align with your way of working and the OECD guidelines wherever possible, and that’s precisely what we did.

The sidebar is organized into the following categories:

  • Intercompany model
  • Controlled transactions
  • Comprehensive information
  • Master file
  • Local file

We will let you investigate the details for yourself, and we would like to highlight another new feature.

According to our research, users often (want to) start their analysis by identifying the relevant intercompany transactions. We previously required users to create the parties to the transaction first and then create transactions between them. With this release, that’s no longer needed: users can create a party to the transaction immediately while adding or editing a transaction simply by entering the party’s name.

Parties to the transactions added here are added as any other party to the transaction and can be seen (and managed) on the Party A/B page.

In the coming weeks, you will see this theme of aligning with your way of working come back more often. We hope this new feature helps you (and new users/colleagues) find their way around TPdoc quicker than ever. If you have any feedback, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
